Shilpa Shetty Kundra took a trip down memory lane as she joined the “What were you doing in the 90s” trend, sharing a nostalgic video packed with clips from her early Bollywood days.
The actress posted the video on Instagram, featuring scenes from her 90s films, including Baazigar, Prithvi, and Insaaf. One standout moment showed the iconic scene from Baazigar where Shah Rukh Khan’s character pushes her off a rooftop — a sequence that remains memorable for fans.
She captioned the post with a playful note, saying the nostalgia from the 90s “hit different,” adding that viewers probably didn’t see it coming.
Baazigar, which also starred Kajol, was loosely inspired by the Hollywood film A Kiss Before Dying. The thriller followed a man seeking revenge against a businessman responsible for his family’s downfall, using deception and calculated violence. The film was notable for casting Shah Rukh Khan in a negative lead role early in his career — a bold move at the time — and went on to become a commercial success. Its music by Anu Malik also gained popularity, and Shah Rukh Khan won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
Earlier this year, Shilpa had shared glimpses of her spiritual side during a visit to the Mahalaxmi Temple, where she posted a picture dressed in a yellow saree, holding an offering plate and expressing gratitude. She has also previously welcomed sacred symbols associated with Sai Baba of Shirdi — the Kafni and Paduka — into her home, calling it a moment of divine grace.
