Saachi Bindra on Film Debut: “This Isn’t Just My Dream, It’s My Mom’s Dream Too”

Mumbai: Debutante Saachi Bindra, who is making her entry into cinema with Mannu Kya Karegaa, said she feels incredibly fortunate to see herself on the big screen alongside her family.

Speaking about her emotions, Saachi shared:
“There’s a little nervousness, but more than anything, I feel immense happiness. It feels surreal. I dreamt of this when I was very little—probably at an age when I couldn’t even imagine such things. As far back as I can remember, I always wanted this.”

She added, “I remember switching on the TV and imitating actresses on screen. That’s where it all began. I truly feel this isn’t just my dream, it’s my mom’s dream too. To stand here today, watching myself on the big screen with my family beside me, is a blessing. None of this would have been possible without my team and my family’s support.”

The film, backed by Sharad Mehra under Curious Eyes Cinema and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, explores the world of college romance. The trailer, recently unveiled, promises a mix of family drama, emotional highs, heartbreak, and the sweetness of first love.

Mannu Kya Karegaa also stars Vinay Pathak, Kumud Mishra, and Charu Shankar in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled for a nationwide release on September 12, 2025.
