Rubina Dilaik on Whether She Believes in Discussing Everything with Husband Abhinav Shukla

Mumbai:Television star Rubina Dilaik is all set to appear in the much-anticipated reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga alongside her actor husband, Abhinav Shukla.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Rubina was asked whether she believes in discussing everything with her partner.

She responded, “I think ‘avoid’ is a very strong word—I’ve never done that. While I don’t believe in avoiding things, I also feel that discussing absolutely everything isn’t necessarily wise in a relationship. Sometimes, it’s best to understand and let things be.”

When asked if they choose to ignore fights, Rubina clarified, “We don’t ignore conflicts. Over time, we’ve learned to pick our battles. Some issues need thoughtful resolution, while others are too insignificant to dwell on.”

The Bigg Boss 14 winner emphasized that the key lies in understanding what really matters at a given moment.

Speaking on how the couple handles disagreements, Abhinav added, “Some issues get resolved in a few hours, others take days, and some take even longer. We decide how much energy a problem is worth based on its nature.”

He jokingly concluded, “Problems come in all shapes, sizes, and timings—but in our relationship, I always say, ‘Whatever you say, baby.’ That line has become quite famous now.”

Rubina and Abhinav welcomed their twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa, on November 27, 2024.

Talking about why they decided to join the show after becoming parents, Rubina shared, “After becoming a mom, I wanted to spend more quality time with Abhinav and just have some fun—so I took up this show.”

Hosted by Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui, Pati Patni Aur Panga will also feature couples like Gurmeet Choudhary–Debina Bonnerjee, Avika Gor–Milind Chandwani, Sudesh Lehri–Mamta Lehri, Geeta Phogat–Pawan Kumar, and Swara Bhasker–Fahad Ahmed.

The show premieres this Saturday on Colors TV.
