Cong concludes 8-day organisational training camp

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee wrapped up its eight-day organisational training programme at a banquet hall in Lalgutwa. On the final day, office-bearers from Ranchi Rural, Ranchi Urban and Lohardaga districts, along with block-level functionaries, received training.

Congress in-charge K. Raju said the effectiveness of such camps depends on how well Congress values and principles reach people at the panchayat level. He stressed continuous efforts to safeguard public rights. Raju urged party workers to ensure early dissemination of information on the Special Summary Revision (SIR) of the voters’ list so no citizen is excluded. Highlighting that many voters in remote tribal and Dalit-dominated regions risk being overlooked, he called for immediate appointment of Booth Level Agents to maintain direct contact with residents during SIR.

State Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said the programme aims to strengthen the organisation, enhance grassroots activity and reinforce discipline. A stronger organisation, he noted, would enable Congress to respond effectively to political and social challenges. He described the current year of organisational development as a milestone that could mark a new phase for the party in Jharkhand, emphasising the need to connect with every section of society, including those at the margins.

The event was attended by co-in-charge Dr Bela Prasad, Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav, deputy leader Rajesh Kachhap, minister Irfan Ansari, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Bandhu Tirkey, Shahzada Anwar, former state president Rajesh Thakur, Subodh Kant Sahay, Suresh Baitha, Banna Gupta, Ravindra Singh, Jyoti Singh Matharu, Amulya Neeraj Khalko, Vinay Sinha, Deepu, Rakesh Sinha, Satish Paul Munjini, Sonal Shanti, Gajendra Singh, Dr Rakesh Kiran Mahato, Kumar Raja, Somnath Munda and several others.
