Mumbai: On the festive occasion of Dhanteras, actress Ankita Lokhande gave fans a peek into her “modern AnVi ki fairytale” with husband Vicky Jain, sharing a series of romantic moments from their Diwali celebrations.
Taking to Instagram, Ankita posted beautiful pictures of herself and Vicky from their recent Diwali bash. Alongside the photos, she wrote: “The Modern Fairytale #AnVi ki Fairytale — No dragons, no rescues, no glass shoes, just a King and a Queen who chose each other every single day, even when the story got hard.”
Extending warm wishes to her followers, the actress added, “Wishing you all lots of #Dhan this #Dhanteras.”
Ankita Lokhande, who married businessman Vicky Jain in December 2021, first appeared with him on screen in Bigg Boss 17, hosted by Salman Khan. Comedian Munawar Faruqui won that season, while Abhishek Kumar emerged as the runner-up.
The couple later appeared together in the culinary comedy show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
On the film front, Ankita was last seen in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, a biopic directed, co-written, and produced by Randeep Hooda, who also played the titular role. The film explores the life and ideology of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
Ankita rose to fame with her television debut as Archana Manav Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta and has since featured in Bollywood films such as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Baaghi 3.
