Daltonganj: A youth was allegedly murdered in a case of a love affair in Karkata village under Untari Road Police Station area of the Palamu district.
The deceased has been identified as Babloo Kumar (22) whose body was found barely 50 meters away from his home.
Family members said that Wednesday late night following a phone call Babloo had left his home but failed to come back and on Thursday morning his body was recovered.
Vishrampur SDPO Surjeet Kumar said that Baloo was having an affair with a girl in the same village and some people have been taken for questioning and soon the case would be cracked.
Meanwhile, a youth hailing from Nainital hanged himself at his relative’s home located Kadri Tola under Tarhasi Police station area. The deceased Salim Ansari (25) was in stress as he could not return back to his family in Nainital due to lockdown.
