Mumbai- Actress Bhumi Pednekar is making the most of her time in New York, sharing glimpses of her month-long stay with fans while admitting that she continues to miss home.
The ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ actress took to Instagram to share a photo dump from her New York trip, featuring snapshots of her city adventures, food, friends and candid moments.
Alongside the pictures, Bhumi wrote that she was “living my best life” in New York but could not stop missing home.
“Living my best life, but always missing home :)” she wrote.
The actress also joked about the difficulty of capturing an entire month in one Instagram carousel, saying that 20 pictures were simply not enough to document everything she had experienced in the city.
“Also, how do I fit in a month of New York in 20 pictures. Too colossal a task. Instagram increase carousel pictures to 30 please. Ok bye,” she added.
Her photo collection offered a glimpse into her everyday experiences in New York. From striking poses against the city’s iconic backdrop to candid selfies during leisurely walks, Bhumi appeared to be soaking in the sights and atmosphere of the city.
The carousel also included glimpses of her food experiences, with pictures of sandwiches, coffee and other dishes, along with photographs featuring friends who accompanied her during parts of the trip.
While her social media update reflected the relaxed side of her New York stay, Bhumi is also gearing up for an important role on the professional front.
The actress will next be seen as Belawadi Mallamma, the warrior queen from Karnataka’s history, in the upcoming historical drama ‘The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’.
The film stars Rishab Shetty in the lead and is directed and backed by Sandeep Singh. Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the cast in key roles.
Bhumi’s portrayal of Belawadi Mallamma marks a departure from the contemporary roles for which she has been widely recognised.
