Deoghar: Young people aged 16 to 35 years will get an opportunity to test their knowledge of Dr B. R. Ambedkar and compete for prize money worth more than ₹4.05 lakh in the Dr B. R. Ambedkar Quiz Competition 2026, organised by the Godda Lok Sabha Youth Congress.
The competition is aimed at encouraging knowledge, awareness and healthy competition among young people across the Godda Lok Sabha constituency. Participation and registration will be free.
Details of the competition were announced at a press conference held at Hotel Magnum in Deoghar on Friday. Jharkhand Youth Congress state general secretary and event coordinator Arkaditya Yadav briefed the media about the initiative. Twenty-Point Programme vice-chairman Dr Munnam Sanjay, former Congress district president Prof Uday Prakash, Mukund Das, Dinesh Mandal, Anurag Anand and Rahul Singh were also present.
Online registration will be open from October 1 to October 15 through www.lycambedkarquiz.in. Participants must be residents or students of the Godda Lok Sabha constituency and fall within the 16-35 age group.
The constituency has been divided into two examination units. Participants from Deoghar, Jarmundi and Madhupur will appear for the Unit A examination in Deoghar on October 24. Unit B, covering Poreyahat, Godda and Mahagama, will conduct its examination in Godda on October 25.
The written examination will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates will get 40 minutes to complete the test, and there will be no negative marking.
The competition will culminate in a grand finale featuring the 10 highest-performing participants from the two units. The winner will receive a cash prize of ₹50,000, with the overall prize pool exceeding ₹4.05 lakh.
Participants will be required to carry their Aadhaar cards to the examination centre for verification. Mobile phones and smartwatches will not be permitted inside the examination centres.
Organisers said the quiz is intended not only as a competitive event but also as a platform to encourage young people to learn more about Ambedkar’s contribution to India’s constitutional and social development.
