The draft electoral roll is also available at the respective polling booths, where voters can check their details with the assistance of Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
Highlighting the importance of an accurate electoral roll, Bhajantri said every eligible citizen should ensure that their details are correctly recorded, as the voter list forms the foundation of the democratic process. He also encouraged voters to verify the names of their family members and complete any necessary corrections or additions without delay.
The Deputy Commissioner further instructed Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to provide all necessary assistance to voters and ensure that every claim and objection received during the revision process is disposed of as per the Election Commission’s guidelines.
