Ranchi : A major reshuffle has been carried out in the Ranchi police administration, with 15 police officers transferred and assigned new responsibilities. Orders have been issued directing all officers to join their new postings with immediate effect.
As part of the changes, several police station in-charges and TOP (Town Out Post) officers have been shifted. Shailendra Dudu, who was posted at Rahe police station, has been made the officer-in-charge of Narkopi police station. Mohammad Kafeel Ahmad from Kanke police station has been transferred as the new in-charge of Bero police station, while Vikas Kumar Paswan from Silli police station has been appointed as the officer-in-charge of Muri OP.
Dinesh Kumar Thakur, who was serving in Jharkhand High Court security, has now been given charge of the Vidhan Sabha police station. Shivnarayan Tiwari from Bariatu police station has been posted as Itki police station in-charge, and Gagan Kumar Thakur from Police Centre has been made the officer-in-charge of Sikidiri police station.
Among other key transfers, Dulal Kumar Mahto from Morabadi TOP has been appointed as Tamar police station in-charge, Kundan Kumar has been posted at Dasham Fall police station, and Abhishek Kumar from Lower Bazar has been made the new officer-in-charge of Rahe police station.
Several TOP-level changes have also been made. Rahul has been assigned charge of Morabadi TOP, Akshay Kumar has been posted at Edalhatu TOP, Vivek Kumar Dubey at Chutupalu TOP in Ormanjhi, and Pooja Vibhuti Oraon has been made in-charge of Hill TOP under Sukhdevnagar police station.
The traffic wing has also seen changes. Awadh Bihari Kunwar has been appointed in-charge of Khelgaon Traffic Police Station, while Dharmendra Kumar has been given responsibility for Pandra Traffic Police Station.
According to the police administration, the reshuffle has been carried out to strengthen law and order and improve the efficiency of administrative functioning across the district.
