Ranchi: The results of the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Intermediate examinations 2026 were officially released on Wednesday, with students across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams achieving remarkable success.
The Arts stream recorded the highest success rate at 96.14%, followed by Commerce at 93.37%, while Science registered a pass percentage of 82.92%.
Chhoti Kumar topped the Arts stream with 478 marks, while Ankit Kumar and Anshu Kumari secured second and third positions with 474 and 473 marks, respectively.
In the Commerce stream, Sweta Prasad emerged as the topper with 478 marks. She studies at Yogoda Satsang Intermediate College. Krish Kumar Barnwal secured second place with 472 marks, and Priyanshi Khatri stood third with 471 marks.
Rashida Naz led the Science stream with an impressive score of 489 marks. A student of DAV +2 Pathardih, she secured the top rank. Mohammad Faizan Alam came second with 483 marks, while Akanksha Kumari and Sana Afreen jointly secured third place with 481 marks each.
The announcement of results brought happiness and excitement across Jharkhand, as students celebrated their achievements with teachers, parents, and peers.
