Mumbai: Actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is stepping into a fresh phase, both professionally and stylistically, as she unveils a new fringed look while working on an upcoming thriller-action series alongside Bengali star Parambrata Chatterjee.
Talking about her transformation, Nimrit shared that the change is closely tied to her new project. “I’ve begun working on something new, and this look is part of that journey. I wanted to try something different, and the fringe felt like the right change,” she said, adding that experimenting with her appearance brings a renewed sense of excitement and perspective.
Sources close to the actress reveal that she had been keen to revamp her look for some time, and the timing of this project made it ideal. The addition of fringes, they say, enhances her on-screen presence and adds a fresh dimension to her persona.
The yet-untitled series, which started filming earlier this month, remains largely under wraps. However, Nimrit has already shared glimpses from the shoot in Nainital, including a warm note for her co-star Parambrata, whom she described as “the nicest person on the block,” calling the experience of working with him an honour.
Beyond this project, Nimrit also has another series in the pipeline titled “Ab Hoga Hisaab.” The show promises a gripping narrative set against a strong Punjabi backdrop, blending elements of suspense, revenge, and complex human relationships. Directed by Divyanshu Malhotra, it features a stellar cast including Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer Shaikh, and Mouni Roy.
The actress was last seen in the Punjabi film “Shaunki Sardar,” alongside Guru Randhawa, Babbu Maan, and Guggu Gill. Directed by Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan, the film revolves around three men bound by style, adventure, and a strong moral code, navigating a complex and intertwined past.
With back-to-back projects and a bold new look, Nimrit appears ready to explore new creative territory and redefine her screen presence.
