Mumbai: Actress Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up to appear as Diya in the much-anticipated sequel Cocktail 2. Recently, she took to social media to revisit the fun-filled moments from the shoot of the song Jab Talak, alongside co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
Sharing her behind-the-scenes experience, Rashmika revealed that the shoot in Sicily, Italy, was packed with laughter, spontaneous dancing, and a carefree vibe. She described it as a joyful and slightly chaotic experience, where the team balanced fun with delivering stylish performances on screen.
In her post, she portrayed the shoot as a “page from Diya’s diary,” highlighting how the cast spent time dancing between takes, laughing endlessly, and simply enjoying the moment. She also affectionately referred to her co-actors as her “partners in dance and crime,” noting that even serious scenes were often interrupted by their shared sense of humour.
Kriti Sanon also spoke about the track, calling Jab Talak a feel-good number that captures the essence of a perfect summer with friends. She added that filming in Sicily, with its scenic backdrop, made the experience even more memorable, and that the song’s energy was so infectious that even the international crew joined in.
Cocktail 2, a sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19.
