Mumbai — Actress-model Sonali Raut has reportedly sent a legal notice to the makers of Bigg Boss Marathi 6, raising serious concerns about the living conditions inside the house during her stint on the show.
According to sources, Sonali has accused the production team of exposing contestants to unsafe and unhygienic conditions, which she claims led to both mental and physical distress. Among her most alarming allegations is that she contracted Scabies due to the environment inside the house—an issue she says continues to affect her even after her exit.
In her statement, Sonali described the conditions as extremely poor. She alleged that rats were present in the kitchen area and that contaminated food was being consumed by contestants. She also claimed that food supplied during special segments, such as “Weekend Ka War,” was found to have cockroaches.
She further stated that, as part of a punishment, all 17 contestants were required to use a single washroom, which she described as dirty and poorly maintained. According to her, the lack of hygiene extended to personal items as well, with contestants allegedly sharing towels and bedsheets that were not changed regularly.
Sonali also highlighted a shortage of basic necessities, claiming that even essential items like toothbrushes and razors were insufficient, forcing contestants to share. She added that she often struggled with inadequate food, sleep deprivation, and poorly maintained appliances.
Additionally, she alleged that her request to be evicted due to her health condition was edited out of the show. She also claimed that her personal agreement was shared with other contestants, calling it a breach of trust.
The notice reportedly raises concerns about inadequate medical care and negligence by the production team. Sonali emphasized that accountability is necessary to prevent similar experiences for future participants.
As of now, there has been no official response from the makers of the show or host Riteish Deshmukh.
