Think-tank discusses state’s growth challenges, prospects

Ranchi: At a meeting of the state’s intellectual body Samajik–Aarthik evam Sansadiya Adhyayan Kendra, members deliberated on various aspects of Jharkhand’s integrated development. The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities before the 25-year-old state. Participants expressed satisfaction over progress in certain sectors but emphasized the need for stronger efforts in agriculture, irrigation, education, healthcare, and employment generation.

The meeting also reviewed the upcoming release of the Centre’s commemorative publication Jharkhand @25.” It was decided that the book will be unveiled on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3 p.m.

Those present included Dr. S. Kido, Shyam Kishore Chaubey, Ajay Tiwari, Amarnath Jha, S. K. Singh, Naveen Kumar Jha, Ayodhya Nath Mishra, and Ramakant Mahato, among others. The session was chaired by O. P. Lal.
