Mumbai – Actress Yukti Kapoor has revealed that it was the emotional depth and complexity of her character that attracted her to the upcoming film Let’s Play Game.
Speaking about her role, Yukti shared that portraying the character of Neeta pushed her boundaries as an actor. “Neeta is graceful and reserved, but there’s so much happening beneath her calm exterior. Her strength lies in how she conceals her pain and continues to play her part. I was truly captivated by the emotional duality she embodies—being both vulnerable and strong,” she said.
Talking about her preparation for the role, Yukti added, “Playing cards on set brought back memories of Diwali nights with my family. We used to play casually as kids, but I never took it seriously until now. For this role, I had to really grasp the game—and once I did, I started enjoying it.”
She also spoke about the camaraderie on set: “Beyond the shooting, we played cards during breaks just for fun. It turned into a great bonding activity for the cast, and that energy definitely translated into the scenes. I’ve picked it up so well that if I play cards this Diwali with my friends or family, I’m confident I’ll win!”
Let’s Play Game also features Akkshith Sukhija, Dolly Chawla, Kangna Sharma, Amy Aela, and Ribbhu Mehra. The show follows five top players whose secrets begin to unravel as the game intensifies. It will premiere on Hungama OTT on August 12, 2025.
Yukti Kapoor was last seen in the crime thriller Pati Patni Aur Padosan, where she played the lead role of Pratibha. The series, which also starred Charu Mehra and Muohit Joushi, premiered on Hungama OTT on February 20.
