Covid-19 Cases Rise Again, Health Department Issues Advisory

Ranchi: Covid-19 infections are rising once again in Jharkhand’s capital. According to the latest update from the health department, six new Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, increasing the total active cases in the district to 21.

On Wednesday, 7 out of 27 samples tested positive, and on Tuesday, 4 positive cases were detected from 20 samples. So far, 452 samples have been tested in the district, with 37 people confirmed infected.

The health department has stepped up vigilance and is actively monitoring and tracing contacts. Authorities have urged the public to stay cautious, strictly follow Covid protocols, avoid crowded places, wear masks, and practice regular handwashing.

Due to the rising number of cases, the district administration has issued an advisory asking people to wear masks and consult doctors if they experience symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, headache, or fever.

The Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) has also appealed to the public to remain alert. Through SMS alerts, it reminded that Covid-19 cases are increasing in many parts of the country and emphasized that caution, not negligence, is essential. People are advised to wear masks in crowded places, maintain hand hygiene, and get tested if symptoms appear.

Authorities have also reminded everyone to take care of themselves and their families as the situation evolves.
