Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister on Friday once again attacked the BJP and the ED and went on to issue a warning to the agency against one-sided action. Addressing the party workers who had gathered from all corners of the state to show solidarity with the Chief Minister who had faced questioning for more than nine hours by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday he said that any one-sided action by ED will be opposed with while if the probe will be on the right direction necessary cooperation will be extended.
In his message to the party workers, he said that he was extremely humbled towards them for coming out in large numbers and said that the BJP was hatching a conspiracy to remove the present government from power. He said that people present here have fought and got this state and those who are the original residents here will take the state further. He said that since the battle was a political one the only way to win is a cooperation of all. Attacking the BJP he said that since the third day his government came into power there were talks of its falling down.
He said that BJP was blaming the present government for its sins and its conspiracies continued for 20 years. Hemant Soren said that one of the engine’s of the double engine government has been thrown towards Chhattisgarh and soon all other conspirators will be thrown out of here.
The Chief Minister said that he had gone to the agency on Thursday and for eight hours the questioning continued during which he asked as to whether for two years this scam could be on which they said that they had not said two years. He said that if the agency will work with honesty it will get full cooperation of the government but if one sided work will be done then we have the power to protest. “I am not against any investigating agency but they should also tell as to why only against non BJP states action is being initiated… Are all the BJP states clean, “ he asked.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand was the land of the brave and people live here with dignity and self respect. He said that they want to supress the poor and tribals of the state and think that the politician will run away but ‘politicians do not run away from the country traders do’ he said adding that their conspiracy will have to be brought out in open.
He said that the manner in which the state government is working the opposition has got vulnerable. “They think that if their leader is arrested then the workers will become weak… But JMM will become more strong, “ he said adding that on Shibu Soren various allegations were levelled but he came out clean everytime.
During the more than nine hour questioning the Chief Minister was asked questions relates to Pankaj Mishra on which he said that he was not aware that he was involved in illegal minning while on the issue of Prem Prakash he said that he did not knew him.
Questions were also asked from the Chief Minister regarding his economic sources and income and how much the other members of the family earned. On the question related to Pooja Singhal he said that he had given the responsibility to her to run the department and not to collect money.
