CM reviews preparations for Jharkhand Tribal Festival, gives necessary instructions

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached the Morhabadi Grounds and reviewed the preparations for the “Jharkhand Tribal Festival” to be organized on 9th and 10th August 2022 on the occasion of World Tribal Day.

The Chief Minister while closely reviewing all the necessary aspects including the decoration of the main stage collected information about various stalls, other furnishings, seating arrangements, food centers, and security arrangements and gave many important guidelines to the officers.

He said that the welcome and security of the guests arriving from Jharkhand and other states in the festival should be ensured that no laxity is taken. The Chief Minister said that a sufficient number of chairs should be installed for the seating of the spectators. He asked the authorities to take special care of the safety of the general public as well and ensure that the LED screen and sound quality in the venue is good.

He directed the officials to keep all the preparations for the festival intact and maintain the proper arrangement of entry and exit points of guests. The Chief Minister told the officials that the road fixed for the vehicles coming to the venue and the arrangement of parking places should also be maintained properly.

He asked the officials to ensure that the entire pandal is waterproof in view of the possibility of rain, so that even if it rains, no one has to face any problem. Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and others were present on the occasion.
