Jharkhand gets 3,16,980 doses of Covishield, vaccination to gather steam from Friday

Ranchi: In a major respite for the state which is battling scarcity of Coronavirus the Centre on Thursday allotted 3,16,980 doses of Covishield vaccine.

The vaccines have been allotted to all the 24 districts and it is expected that from Friday onwards the vaccination process will gather steam in the state.

The officials of the health department have also breathed a sigh of relief after the arrival of the vaccines. As per the schedule the next dose of the vaccines will be arriving in the state on July 21 in which there will be 2,13,340 doses of
Covishield and 31,130 doses of Covaxin.
