Jamshedpur: In broad daylight at Birsa Nagar, three armed men carried out a daring robbery at PK Construction Company, making away with ₹10 lakh in cash. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The robbers, who arrived on a motorcycle, stormed the office while owner Pankaj Kumar Singh was counting cash to pay workers. They brandished firearms, threatened Pankaj and his employees, and grabbed a bag containing the cash. During their escape, they fired two rounds in the air, causing panic in the area.
Police, led by City DSP Sunil Chaudhary, reached the scene promptly and set up roadblocks to track the culprits. Authorities are analyzing CCTV footage to identify the suspects and interrogating the owner and staff to determine how the robbers had prior information about the cash.
