In interest of people government decided to walk out of tripartite agreement: Oraon

Ranchi, JPCC chief and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon on Thursday said that the party does not find the three party agreement inked between the Union Power Ministry, RBI and the state government justified therefore in the meeting of the cabinet in the interest of the people the government had decided to walk out of it.

Talking to reporters here he said that every section of the society was impacted as the centre was deducing funds from the account in the RBI from which funds for various pension schemes, scholarships and development of STs is being taken.

He said that on one hand the central government was not paying the due to the states while DVC was taking money from the state and giving it to the coal companies where as the same coal companies which owe several thousand crores of the state are not making the payment to the state government.

Dr Oraon said that different state government owe money to DVC but the Centre was silent over the issue. He alleged that as part of a conspiracy the centre and DVC were hampering the growth of Jharkhand.

To a query he said that by making changes in the rules of the JPSC every year exams will be held and doors for employment will be opened for the youth, moreover it will also reduce chance of legal proceedings. He said that rules framed by the BJP were weak due to which exams were hampered and future of children was hit.
