Ranchi: Leader of legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi on Tuesday claimed that Hemant Soren government which is completing one year in power is among the most poor performing government’s in the history of the state.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here on Tuesday he said that crime and maoists activities have increased in the state and women have been subjected to most number of atrocities which is reflected in more then 1500 incidents of rape.
What is most disappointing to note is that minor girls have been most rape victims he said adding that development works have stopped in the state and corruption was rampant from block, police stations to circle offices level.
Marandi said that maoists activities have increased in Jharkhand and those ultras who had fled during the tenure of the BJP are once again causing violence in the state. He went on to claim that maoists enjoy patronage of MLAs those who are sitting in power.
State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash said that one year of Hemant Soren government was all about destroying the dreams and cheating the 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand. He said that JMM, Congress and RJD have worked to increase only family and dynasty politics.
He said that in the last one year development has been zero and encouragement has been given to loot and corruption. He said that the state government is running on the basis of hoardings and advertisements.
Deepak Prakash said that the government deserves zero marks out of hundred. He said that the money being used to organise the lavish function had it been spent on welfare of the poor and needy then many of their problems would have been solved but instead it was trying to hide its failures by putting up big hoardings and advertisements.
On the occasion the party leaders also came out with ‘Aarop Patra’ (charge sheet) highlighting the failures of the state government.
