Lalu Yadav attacks Nitish over Srijan Scam and Flood relief in Bihar

Ranchi, Aug 17: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav
once again flayed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy
Sushil Kumar Modi over the Srijan Scam and flood relief measures in
Bihar.
Addressing a press conference at the circuit house here he said
that the Prime Minister of the country and the ‘stepney’ Chief
Minister talk about zero tolerance corruption but are silent over the
scams in Bihar.
He once again demanded for a CBI probe into the Srijan Scam which
according to him was worth more than Rs 2000 crore. He alleged that
Chief Minister was aware about the scam since 2013 itself and he has
proof for his claims. He said that a person named as Sanjeet Kumar had
written a letter to various people in the government stating that
money was being illegally withdrawn and a copy in this regard was sent
to the Chief Minister on Juy 30. At that time a newspaper had carried
that article and so Sushil Modi should be sent to jail as he was the
finance minister that time.
Mr Yadav said that even New Delhi was aware about the scam therefore
Nitish Kumar went to Modi ji. He said that atleast 20 officials of the
government are involved in this scam and all should be sent to the
jail. He said that in all the districts in the name of NGOs and women
committees loot was carried out.
