Government trying to develop other schools on the likes of Netarhaat

Netarhaat: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that his government was trying to develop other schools also on the likes of Netarhaat.

Addressing a welcoming function at the school he said that there was no need to talk about the honour and prestige of the school but what was need was some small steps so that the school can have international recognition.

He said that since its inception the school has been scaling new heights and has a separate identity that needed to be protected and taken forward. He assured all possible help to the school in its endeavors.

The Chief Minister said that after a long time he has got an opportunity to visit the school. He said that any visitor who comes to Netarhaat visit is completed only after visiting the school which was a matter of great prestige for the state government.

The Chief Minister said that school was unique in its own way and since the year of inception in 1955 it has been setting new milestones. He said that it is perhaps the only school whose campus is spread in 460 acres and students apart from academics are trained in other areas also.

He said that the school has set a separate identity for itself in the area of holistic education and is also known for its discipline and better management. He said that students from the school have made a name for themselves in every area and assured that the state government will take all possible steps to encourage the school.

The Chief Minister said that school was a fine example of how arrangements can be made in other schools. He said that there was need of schools like Netarhaat and its example would be used to make other schools better and soon big steps in this regard would be taken.
