Ranchi: The district administration has sealed 8 shops under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali Police Station area after they were found violating the Covid-19 guidelines.
A joint team comprising the magistrate and officer incharge for Kotwali Police Station conducted the drive during which the shop owners were served notices and subsequently the shops were sealed.
The shops which have been sealed mostly included those selling Chinese snacks and garments.
In wake of the directions of Ranchi DC is taking regular inspections across shops and business establishments to find whether they were following the Covid-19 guidelines or not.
