Once people wake up they would force the administration & govt for development: Das

Ranchi, Aug 7: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that once the people wake up they themselves would force the government and the administration to undertake development.

Addressing the people after flagging off 32 hydraulic hi-tech led vans which would be travelling in  the 24 districts at the project building here   he said that these vans would reach to every person in the state. He said that despite the 70 years of Independence a large part of the population was away from newspaper and electronic media and in such places these vans would be going to the local markets and would make the people aware regarding the schemes launched for them by the government.

Mr Das said that the purpouse of flagging these vans at the project building was to make the employees to realize that so much work is needed to be done in the next two and a half years so that Jharkhand can stand among the developed states of the country.

He said that the government has launched Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme which has helped to reduce the gap between the people and the government. He said that the administration would go among the people and try to solve their problems.

He said that the event was being organized on Raksha Bandhan so that the people are encouraged to work with honesty and dedication for realizing the goals. He asked the officials of the IPRD to keep a tab on the movement of these LED vans as they would be paid Rs 2.72 lakh per month for every van, therefore the realization of goals is a must.
