Ranchi, Aug 04:Unidentified criminals shot dead mother and daughter in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, Police said.
According to police, unidentified criminals entered into house and dragged Reeta Devi, 43 and her daughter Sapna Kumari, 19 early Friday. The male members were tied with rope.
They were dragged out from home when they were sleeping.
Both mother and daughter were taken 500 meter away from their home and they gunned down. Police investigating the case on two angles. First it could be Maoist incident or love affair.
The incident took place Makra village situated under Bariatu block of Latehar district. The dead body has been sent for postmortem.
