Dumka: Dr Louis Marandi on Tuesday files her nominations as BJP nominee for the bypolls on Dumka seat of Jharkhand Assembly.
Prior to filing her nominations Dr Marandi went around the various temples of the city and paid her obeisance after which she reaches at the office of SDO cum Electoral Officer Maheshwar Mahto and filed her nominations during which state BJP vice president Binod Sharma was also present.
Talking to reporters she later said that in the nine months rule JMM has only cheated the people and now they were ready to teach a lesson to them. She said that whether they were youth or farmers all of them have been cheated by the JMM.
She played the insider versus outsider card claiming that she was the daughter and sister of Dumka which was both her birthplace and place of work. She said that the people of Dumka have seen the development brought in five years when she was representing the constituency while on the other hand people on the opposite had misled the people over irrelevant issues.
Earlier leader of the legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi, State unit Chief Deepak Prakash, Dumka MP Sunil Soren and MP Sameer Oraon also interacted with the party workers.
