Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday approved a special grant for kin of martyr Israr Khan who laid down his life while battling Maoists in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh.
Apart from the funds which would be given to his widow Khairun Nisha, a proposal has been also approved to provide a third-grade job to his younger brother Irfan Khan.
A resident of South Golakdih Israr Khan a jawan of Seema Suraksha Bal was martyred on April 4, 2019 in neighbouring state of Chhattisgarh while battling the Maoists.
