Jharkhand Congress stages silent protest over Hathras incident

Ranchi: Leaders of Jharkhand Congress on Monday staged a silent protest in front of Bapu Vatika at the Morhabadi Grounds of the state capital over the Hathras incident.

Speaking with the press JPCC Chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that non-cooperation and Satyagrah are the biggest tools of the Congress party and by using these Mahatma Gandhi had won freedom from the British rule.

He said that Satyagrah helps to make a change of heart and therefore to change the heart of the Yogi Government the Satyagrah has been staged. He said that the attitude of the Yogi government has no place in a democracy. The finance minister said that incidents have taken place in the past also but democracy should live.

Over the CBI probe ordered by the Yogi Government in the case, he said that in the manner in which CBI was functioning under the present government people would soon lose their faith over it.

Health Minister Banna Gupta that the Modi government has failed on every front. He said that the government failed to take any action against China and it appears that 56 inch of Prime Minister has reduced to 36 inch. Gupta said that whether it was the issue of farmers, protecting the daughters or saving the economy the centre has failed badly.
