Ranchi: Jharkhand Minority Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari Saturday died after defeating Coronavirus.
According to JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya, he died on Saturday at Medanta hospital of Ranchi. His Coronavirus report had come negative on Friday. The 73 year old Minister was made Minister second time in January this year in JMM led Hemant Soren govt.
He was admitted at Medanta hospital of Ranchi for the treatment of Coronavirus. He was tested negative on Friday. On Saturday he was suffering from breathing problems and died.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has condoled the death.
“ I am hurt by the death of Haji Hussain Ansari. He played important role in the creation of a separate state. May God rest his soul in peace and give strength to family members bear the pain in difficult time” said Hemant Soren while condoling his death.
He was born in 1947 at Pipra village of Deoghar district. He was elected as a legislator for the first time in 1995. Later he was elected as a legislator in 2000, 2009, and 2019.
The other political parties have also condoled the death of the Minister. Besides Ansari, three more Ministers were infected with the Coronavirus but all were cured.
