People of Jharkhand make their identity with their work: CM

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that people of the state make a name for themselves with their works and responsibilities.

Speaking at the award distribution ceremony at the JSCA Stadium here he said that when the proposal for organising the tournament was brought the situation was very difficult as Jharkhand along with other states of the country was battling Coronavirus but it was decided that to bring out the skill the tournament should be held by adopting all safety measures.

He said that he was happy that the event has concluded peacefully and was also watched by the people of the state online. He said that despite the pandemic girls are preparing for FIFA U-17 football world cup.

The Chief Minister said that the government was slowly taking the situation towards normalcy and there was a need to follow all the precautions to come out safely from this period of infection. He said that compared to other states Jharkhand was moving ahead in the time of crisis.

The Chief Minister gave the trophy and medals to the winning team of Bokaro Blasters and also awarded the players in different categories.

Those present on the occasion included JSCA Chairman Dr Nafees Akhtar, former JSCA chief Amitabh Chowdhary and others.
