Ranchi: Following the directions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren DC Chaibasa provided food grains to the residents of Chhota Le Gaya village apart from that they were also made to fill the application form for getting a ration card under Jharkhand state Food Security Scheme.
Immediately the process was started to equip these families under the ambitious scheme of the state government.
The Chief Minister was informed on Twitter that the family of Lalmuni Munda makes a living by making bidi however due to lock down their life had become miserable moreover the name of the family was also removed from the list of beneficiaries of the ration card in the year 2017 as she could not submit her Aadhar card.
During the lockdown, her children also did not get ration from the school or the Anganwadi centre and similar condition was with the other families in the villages. The Chief Minister immediately directed DC Chaibasa to conduct a probe and ensure that apart from Lalmuni all the other families are provided necessary help.
