Ranchi: Three people including one woman were lynched after the woman with lover killed her husband in Jharkhand’s Gumla district on Tuesday, police said.
According to Police, Marianus Kujur a resident of Dengardih village of Gumla district was killed by her wife and with her lover on Monday night. Neelam Kujur wife of the Marianus was in lover with Sudeep Dundung of another village. On Monday night Sudeep a resident of Nongha reached to meet Neelam along with his friend Paki Kullu.
“ On Monday night when I sleeping heard noises. When I reached my brother’s house found him dead. On the spot both boys and the wife of my brother were present. They killed my brother with help of my sister in law” said Abram Kujur brother Marianus to reporters.
Abram shouted and villagers gathered on the spot. The villages first tied both youths and started beating up them. They were brutally thrashed along with Neelam. All three died on the spot on Tuesday morning.
Senior police officials reached the village and sent all the four bodies for post-mortem.
Police have launched an operation to arrest the people involved in the lynching.
