Hemant lead politicians in paying tributes to former Union Minister Raghuvans Prasad Singh

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren led the politicians of the state in paying tributes to former Union Minister Raghuvans Prasad Singh.

Raghuvans Prasad Singh (74) breathed his last at AIIMS New Delhi where he was battling breathing-related issues and was in the ICU of the hospital. Singh was first time elected as MLA in the year 1977 and on five occasions was elected as an MP.

Union Minister Arjun Munda said that with the demise of Raghuvans Prasad Singh the nation has lost a strong leader who use to publicly raise the issues. He prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family members and his supporters to bear the burden of loss.

JPCC Chief and Finance Minister of Jharkhand Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that late Raghuvans Prasad would be always remembered for his works done for the development of the country. He said that he was also instrumental in implementing MNREGA.

Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das prayed to the almighty to rest the soul of the departed leader in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss.

State BJP Chief Deepak Prakash also expressed his grief while the leader of the legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi said also offered his condolences to the family and prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace.

AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto said that he was saddened with the demise of former Union Minister and leading socialist leader Raghuvans Prasad Singh and prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace.

Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Ranchi MLA CP Singh and many other MPs and MLAs also offered their grief over the passing away of the leader.
