Government teachers will now be able to work in home districts: Mahto

Bokaro: Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto on Saturday said that government teachers would be now able to work in their home districts.

Talking to reporters at the circuit house here, he said that there are many teachers in the state who have to work outside their home districts and keeping in mind their problems and family responsibilities the government has decided that such teachers can be posted in the home districts. Further, he said that Diyang teachers also will be posted in their home districts.

The Minister said that in the name of the engineering college only politics was being done and claimed that if there was any such proposal than the department was ready to work on it. He said that the salaries of the Sanskrit teachers were also pending for long and soon their dues would be cleared. Mahto said that the government was working to remove all the problems of the teachers.

He said that the topper of the 10th and 12th of the JAC exam would be given a car on September 23 which would also coincide with the birth anniversary of Binod Bihari Mahto. Further 300 students of Bhandaridih who have secured more than 75 percent marks would get bicycles.
