Following directions of CM work beings for 500 bed building in MGM Jamshedpur

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has asked the DC Palamu to provide benefits of Mnrega and other government schemes to 30 families residing in Korwa Tola of Mayapur village.

The Chief Minister was informed on Twitter that 30 families belonging to the primitive tribes group who live in the village have no employment and even under Mnrega they have not been provided jobs. Further, they also do not get the benefits of ration card, old age pension and other government schemes.

In another tweet, the Chief Minister directed DC of East Singhbhum to conduct a probe into the death of Sanjay Singh who died while being treated at MGM Hospital. He said that despite the dedicated health staff for several years such incidents are being witnessed at the hospital. He has also asked the Health Minister to take cognizance of the matter and take necessary steps to improve the system.

Following the directions of the Chief Minister the DC said that the matter has been taken into cognizance and is being probed. He said that work has commenced to set up a building having a capacity of 500 beds at the hospital so that people can get high-quality healthcare at the government hospital.

The Chief Minister was informed that Sanjay Singh who hailed from Dimna area was admitted at MGM hospital over complaints of breathing difficulties. Since he did not get a bed in an emergency his ECG was performed in bed during which he died.
