Ranchi: Jharkhand DGP MV Rao chaired a high level meeting with the senior police officials as well as all the SPs of the state via video conferencing during which he reviewed the law and order situation.
The DGP gave necessary instructions related to facilities to be provided to the policemen who have been infected by Coronavirus, steps taken to counter cybercrime, fixing responsibility among the police and necessary improvements in their behaviour.
Further, he also reviewed the progress in the execution of departmental proceedings against policemen, role of policemen in land-related disputes, cases related to the suspension of policemen etc. He also gave instructions to arrest the wanted criminals as soon as possible.
During the meeting the DIGs, SSPs and SPs gave a detailed report over law and order situation, LWE operations, progress in addressable of different cases, progress in investigating of various cases etc. Various ADG, IG and DIG rank officers were present in the meeting.
