Ranchi: Leaders cutting across party lines expressed their grief over passing of Rajyasabha MP Amar Singh who breathed his last in hospital in Singapore.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren led the politicians in paying their tributes to the leader. He prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss.
JPCC Chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that Mr Singh was a very noble man and he always remained helpful for others. He said that personally he had got several opportunities to interact with Mr Singh. Recounting his talks with him the minister said that Mr Singh was always worried about the common people.
State BJP chief and Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh has also expressed his grief over the demise of the almighty. He has prayed to the almighty to rest in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss.
Leader of legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi has also expressed his grief over the passing of the leader. He said that his demise was big loss not only for politics of Uttar Pradesh but for the politics of the entire country.
