Lockdown declared in Hazaribagh from July 15 to 22

Hazaribagh: The district administration had imposed a lockdown in the district from July 15 to July 22 during which apart from essential services all other shops and business establishments will remain closed.

Briefing the press Hazaribagh DC Bhunesh Pratap Singh and SP Kartik S through a video conferencing said that apart from healthcare services, medicine shops and shops catering to essential services would be open. On the other hand the district administration has ordered for closure of the borders so that no person from outside can to to district.

The DC said that Coronavirus is further spreading in the district and the number of active patients was more than 100, moreover a day earlier 39 cases of Coronavirus has been recovered. He said that since more cases are being detected from area falling under Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation therefore a lockdown for a week would be imposed under the area.

It has been also decided to keep the collectorate premises closed for 3 days so that during the period the entire premises can be sanitised. The officials said that the process of conducting the tests has been increased in the district and also the people have been urged to come forward for tests who are suffering from cold, cough and fever.
