JSSC to conduct online exams

Ranchi, Jun 13: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission in future
would be conducting exams for the various posts via online mode.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state
cabinet which was chaired by the Chief Minister at the Project
Building here. After the system comes into effect the JSSC would be
able to conduct more examinations during a calendar year and moreover
the changes of mistakes would also be minimised.

The Central Staff Selection Commission, government departments, state
commissions and the banks have done away with the complex offline
method of examination and have switched to the online mode which has
ensured better results of the examinations in lesser time. The jssc
has been laden with recruitment process of more than 30,000 posts
which after adopting the method would again further speed.

The government has recommended the commission to conduct examination
for category three jobs and for non technical posts alongwith it the
JSSC has also been given the responsibility to conduct exams for the
various non gazetted, teachers, vacant posts in boards and
universities. At present the commission has adopted offline method of
appointment while the forms are filled online.
