N N Pandey appointed new state election commissioner

Ranchi, Jun 6: The Jharkhand Government today decided to appoint retired IAS officer Narsingh Narayan Pandey as the new state election commissioner.

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the Project Building here. An official release issued after the meeting said that  the cabinet has also approved rules and regulations for conducting the exam of assistant director under the Jharkhand Social Security Services Department.

The cabinet also gave its not to the Jharkhand Lift and Escalators Act 2017. A sum of 240.54 crore was also approved for Adityapur Sewrage management scheme under the AMRUT yojana. The government also decided that to porepare hot meals at anganwadi and mini-anganwadi kendras gas cyclinders and lpg stoves would be provided.

An administrative approval for building various bridges in Hazaribagh district worth Rs 53.31 crore was also approved. In another decision the state government it also decided that ARCIL  would pay the cost of consultant fee to Mecon for 2×540 plant being set up in Latehar.
