Chief Minister constitutes Jharkhand Mati Kala Board.

Ranchi, May 29: The Jharkhand Government has constituted the
‘Jharkhand Mati Kala Board’ for which Chief Minister Raghubar Das has
appointed Shrichand Prajapati of Lohardaga as the president of the
board.
Five other members have been also nominated into the board which
included Rajendra Pandit From Godda, Gangadhar Pandit East Singhbhum,
Neeraj Prajapati Ranchi, Ishwar Prajapati Bokaro and Avinash Deo
Palamu. A notification in this regard has been issued by the
industries department.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the government is committed for
all round development of the potters and the sculptors. He said that a
large chunk of the population of the state government was dependent on
this traditional work form.
He said that the state government was committed to provide technical
skills, economic aid and other facilities for the addressable of the
problems and provided them all possible help through this board.
The Chief Minister said that after the board comes into effect the
socio-economic condition of the potters would change in the state.
