Cabinet Decisions: Rs 100 cr sanctioned for cleanliness and other works at zilla parishads

Ranchi, May 14: The Jharkhand Government has sanctioned a sum of Rs 100 crore for drinking water, cleanliness, toilet construction and led street lihght installations in Zilla Parisahds of the state.

 

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the Project Building here. An official press release issued after the meet said that the cabinet has also approved funds for building of police lines in Latehar, Lohardaga, Giridih and Koderma. The cabinet also decided to fix the honorarium for the mediators appointed under Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority. It was also decided that in all divisional headquarters five courts of additional sessions judge cum civil judge be constituted and their area would cover all the districts of the division.

 

The cabinet also decided to approve constitution of posts for holistic child development services. The government also decided that a sum of Rs 6.97 crore be spent for creation of 267 posts in district education training instituions. It was also decided to constitute third and fourth grade jobs in PMCH Dhanbad (375 posts) and MGM Jamshedpur (384 posts).

The cabinet gave its nod to appoint doctors, specialists and other officials for running the women and child center at the Sadar Hospital Ranchi. Various proposals of JREDA were also approved. The Jharkhand Cinema Promotion Policy was approved alongwith Jharkhand Transit Oriented Development Policy. Draft master plans for Koderma Master Plan, Garhwa Master Plan and Manjhigaon Master Plans were also approved by the cabinet.

 

The Government also ordered VAT exemption for items procured by canteen stores department. Movie Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi was declared tax free in the state. It was also decide to constitue 300 posts at headquarters and regional level for Chief Minister Small and Medium Industries Board.
