Three new CIEPT to come up in Jharkhand : Ananth Kumar

Ranchi, May 15: Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers and Parliamentary Affairs along with Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das Monday  jointly laid the foundation stone for setting up of Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) Centre at Ranchi.

 

Addressing the function organised in this regard he said that the Sakhi Mandal Yojana started by the government of Jharkhand is a role model for all alongwith the Yojana Banao Abhiyaan, Dhoba construction and formation of panchayat secretariat would also go in along way for the development of the state.

He said that Jharkhand was the first state of the country where foundation laying and inauguration of CIPET was being simultaneously done and within two months session would also commence in which 1,500 students would be provided vocational and diploma training.

 

Heaping praise on Chief Minister Raghubar Das he said that establishment of CIPET Ranchi center was a result of the efforts of Mr Das  who wants to Jharkhand the capital of plastic engineering and technology for which his vision needed to be lauded.

 

The minister said that a sum of Rs 6,000 crore has been sanctioned for the Sindri Fertiliser Factory which once operational would produce one lakh tones of urea which after completing the requirements of the farmers of Jharkhand would be provided to the farmers of other state. On the occasion he also announced that 100 new Jan Aushadhi Kendra would be opened in the state which would be also set up in railway stations and bus stands. He said that at these Kendras generic medicines of world class standard would be made available to the people especially those belonging to the poorer sections.

Mr Kumar said that on the demand of the state government three more CIPET Centers would be set up in the state. One in Deoghar which would be a tribal CIPET for the tribal students. Second would come up in Jamshedpur  which would be run on PPP mode on the collaboration of the state government, central government and Tata Steel. The third one would be set up in
