Ranchi, May 11: Jharkhand’s Development Commissioner Amit Khare directed the officials of the Rural Development Department and IT and e-governance department to make arrangements of video conferencing at all the block headquarters to ensure the presence of the officials in the block offices.
Mr Khare chaired a high level meeting to make an assessment of the human resource available at the block offices for better execution of schemes and ensure better delivery service to the people. He asked the DCs and the district level officials to makes sure that meeting with the block officials is held on aregular basis through the means of the video conferencing.
Mr Khare asked the rural development department to take further course of action in this regard. He said that often it is found that the block level officials are either out of their respective areas or refrain from attending key meetings due to which people face problems in solving of the complaints and the development work is also hit.
Mr Khare directed the Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department to make sure that the government employees and observers and volunteers posted at block and panchayat level undergo human resource study so that the panchayat system can be further improved.
