Ranchi, May 8: For those who would be violating the traffic rules
henceforth would be provided e-challan to collect the fines.
As part of launching the new facility various officials of the traffic
department and other police personnel were provided training in the
police headquarters here. The traffic zonal officer and traffic police
station were trained at the data centre branch of the police
headquarters on how to use e-challan device.
Traffic SP Sanjay Singh said that soon the e-challan system would be
launched in the city for which the policemen and officials are being
provided special training. In the first phase 40 police officials were
provided training and in th second phase more officials would be
trained.
He said that under the new system the police would be collecting fine
through debit and credit cards if the rule violater is found without
money.
