Raghubar writes to Nitish Kumar for reconstruction of Albert Ekka Memorial Complex

Ranchi, Apr 29 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has written a
letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar seeking his help in
reconstruction of Albert Ekka Param Veer Chakra Memorial Complex in
Patna.
It was brought into the cognisance of Chief Minister by ex Colonel
V K Singh who pointed out that the complex was inaugurated by the then
Finance Minister and presently President of India Pranab Mukherjee in
1984 in the memory of Paramveer Chakra recipient Albert Ekka for his
gallantry in Indo-Pak War in 1971.

He was the only recipient of prestigious medal of undivided Bihar
and the whole eastern zone. Rejuvenation of the mentioned building
will be a token of reverence for the brave martyr, he said.
