Govt working to increase the income of farmers and villagers

Ranchi, Apr 18: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that his
government was increasing the income of the farmers and the villagers
and they are being linked with animal husbandry, horticulture and
other activities.
In meeting with Union Secretary of the Rural Works Department Mr
Amarjeet Mr Das apprised in detail the works being undertaken in the
state including those related to skill development of the women and
youth and linking them with self employment. The government was also
working on Mission Antodaya. Mr Amarjeet was on a visit to the state.
The Chief Minister said that rural and urban roads are being better
built and if the interlinking roads are also built nicely than
villagers would be benefitted, the farmers would be able to come to
the city and sell their crops at a better rate. He said that the
government plans to provide easy loans to the youth of the rural areas
so that they can get buses on easy loans so that it can create
employment and easy commutation of travellers is also possible. He
said that development would help to check migration.
The Union Secretary lauded the works being done by teh state
government and said that changes were visible in the state. He said
that his first posting was in West Singhbhum district. He said that
work was visible on ground and Jharkhand had performed better in
Mnrega. He said that union minister Narendra Singh Tomar would soon be
visiting the state. Principal Secretary of the Chief Minister Sanjay
Kumar was also present during the meeting.
